The current Editor is WB Thomas Lamb. Tom is from Edinburgh, Scotland having immigrated to the US in 1966. He is a Naval Architect by profession having over 60 years’ experience in shipbuilding industry. The last 11 years of his career was spent at the University of Michigan where he taught ship design and ship production as well as conducting research. He retired in June 2006 and moved back to Seattle area where he had lived before. He has published a book and edited a book of Ship Design and Construction as well as presenting more than 70 technical papers. Tom still consults mainly to companies in South America, and recently Canada. Tom was raised to the sublime Degree of Master Mason at the Plymouth Rock Lodge #47 in Plymouth Michigan in 2004. After returning to Seattle he joined the Edmonds Lodge #165 in September 2006. After serving in the line positions of Junior and Senior Wardens, Tom was Worshipful Master in 2011. Tom became a 32° Scottish Rite Knight in 2005 in the Valley of Detroit. He was honored by being selected to be a KCCH in 2009. He is an active member of the Valley of Seattle Knights of St. Andrew. Tom is also a member of the Walter F. Meier research Lodge #281, Lodge ALBA #315, Royal Arch Snohomish Chapter No.15, Walter F. Meier Council #22, Scottish Rite Research Society, Royal Order of Scotland and The Philalethes Society.

Tom is a frequent speaker on Masonic topics and strongly believes that the main purpose of Freemasonry is to provide further light through Masonic education. He therefore appreciates this opportunity to as Editor to help play a small part in accomplishing this important objective.
