The Girls Aloud Show (2025)

The Girls Aloud Show was the seventh concert tour by Girls Aloud; launched in 2024, the tour had 30 dates across the UK and Ireland. It marked the group's first tour since 2013's Ten: The Hits Tour, and their first as a quartet since the death of Sarah Harding. The Girls Aloud Show was the biggest UK arena tour of 2024.

Concert synopsis[]

The show begins with pulsing lights, before the curtain drops to reveal Girls Aloud, backlit, atop elevated platforms. They perform Out of Control single "Untouchable", as footage of Sarah Harding is projected behind them. They descend to the stage as they perform "The Show", which is followed by a spoken intro, by Nicola, into "Something New". They walk to the end of the catwalk, and address the audience before performing "Love Machine", "Can't Speak French" and "Biology". The first section ends with a performance of "Whole Lotta History", which features an extended outro performed by Sarah appearing on the screens at the back of the set.

The second section begins with "Wake Me Up", where the group fly across the audience on motorbikes backed by purple lightning flashes; this is quickly followed by a performance of "Sound of the Underground", complete with the microphone routine from the music video. After this, "Girl Overboard" from Tangled Up, the first deep cut of the show, is performed, followed by "No Good Advice", complete with strobing lights. "Graffiti My Soul" is performed next, which is followed by "Long Hot Summer'. This marked the first time the song had been performed since The Greatest Hits Tour in 2007. The second section ends with a performance of "I'll Stand by You". Here, the girls stated they'd found a special version of the song, and invited the audience to allow Sarah to sing the first verse before joining in.

The next section starts with an extended intro, before Cheryl appears posterised in red on the screens to sing the opening of "Sexy! No No No..."; for this performance, the girls are slightly elevated and dressed in red gowns, referencing the music video of the song. "On the Metro" follows, which is performed largely on the catwalks. "Jump" is performed next, complete with a confetti drop. This is then followed by "Call the Shots". The final song of act three is "Something Kinda Ooooh".

For the encore of the show, an extended version of "The Promise" is performed, as the girls walk out to microphone stands one at a time. For Sarah's part of the bridge, the music drops out entirely as she is projected onto screens on stage to perform her lines acapella. For the end of the show, a photo of her from an Out of Control session is projected onto the screens.
